- From age 12, with or without previous experience. Under-12s train at Marina-Besòs.

- 39 € a month, or 29 € up to age 16, with access to all our spaces. With a CxEM Espronceda membership, 19 € (9 € up to 16), for that space's classes only. The annual sports insurance is paid separately. Free registration and two trial classes.
- What to bring
- Comfortable long-sleeved top and long trousers. You do not need a keikogi to start.
- Who teaches
- Daniil Mikhaylov (3rd dan).
- Who runs it
- Aikido Musubi, a non-profit cultural association founded in 2008. We are part of Aikido Arashi Group, recognised by the Aikikai Foundation (Hombu Dojo, Tokyo).

- The general fee covers all our spaces: Badalona, Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs.
- With a membership: the reduced fee is for holders of an Espronceda Municipal Sports Complex membership and covers this space's classes only. Show it when you sign up.
- By the quarter or the year it costs less, and the dojo provides the keikogi. All the fees.
- Families: the first person pays the normal fee and each one after that pays 15 € less a month.
- Free: registration and the two trial classes. Separately: the annual sports insurance.
- Under 12, the class is at Marina-Besòs.

Your first class, step by step

Write to us
An email or a WhatsApp. We will tell you which day suits and who will meet you.

Arrive fifteen minutes early
We will show you the changing room and the mat, and introduce whoever will train with you.

Comfortable clothes, nothing else
Long sleeves, long trousers, bare feet. One hour, and nobody is going to test you on day one.

Daniil Mikhaylov, 3rd dan Aikikai, leads the class at CxEM Espronceda. He trained at Aikido Musubi and follows the line of the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, with the same programme and the same gradings as the Badalona dojo.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a CxEM Espronceda membership?
No. Anyone can sign up at the general fee, which covers every space. If you already hold a membership of the complex, you can pay the members' fee instead, which covers this space's classes only.
How do I find the room?
Classes are held in the sports complex's tatami room. Go in from Calle de Espronceda; the access page has the plan with the entrance marked. Allow extra time on your first visit.
How is it different from the class at the University of Barcelona?
The UB class is for beginners, at 19:00. The CxEM Espronceda class is for all levels, at 20:00. Same programme, same gradings, and the fee covers both.
Can I also train in Badalona?
Yes. The fee covers all our spaces, and the Badalona dojo has aikido Tuesday to Saturday, mornings and evenings.
Is there a class for under-12s?
Not here: this class is from age 12. Up to age 16 there is a class of its own at the Marina-Besòs sports centre in Sant Adrià de Besòs, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.
